NOUS Wide Beam: Freedom from Fear: an Incomplete History of Liberalism with Alan S. Kahan & Sabine Döring

We are excited to present a special NOUS Spotlight Wide Beam event on April 22, 2025, together with Alan S. Kahan (Université de Versailles, St. Quentin, France) and Sabine Döring (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen). The event, inspired by Alan’s new book “Freedom from Fear: an Incomplete History of Liberalism” (Princeton University Press 2023), will be moderated by Alexander Schwitteck (Center for Liberal Modernity, Berlin, Germany).
NOUS Spotlight Wide Beam events are part of the greater NOUS Spotlight family, a series of Zoom meetings for scholarly discussion around the globe organized by the international Network for Constitutional Economics and Social Philosophy (NOUS), The Wide Beam events, a cooperation with the Alliance for the Social Market Economy (ASM), are open to the public.
